RESEARCH & TEACHING:
Specialization: Macroeconomics, Monetary Theory and Policy.
Some of my papers are published in the Journal of Monetary Economics, International Economic Review, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking. I regularly contribute articles and interviews to news and media outlets, such as CNBC.com, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, U.S. News and World Reports, Bloomberg TV, ABC News, and Reuters. Courses Taught: Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory, Dynamic Macroeconomic Theory, Money and Banking, Senior Seminar on Business Cycles, Introduction to Macroeconomics, and Graduate (MA/PhD) Macroeconomics. I have been on the economics faculty at Villanova, Penn State, and the US Naval Academy, as well as a visiting professor at Princeton, senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
